Showcase Sunday #18!

Showcase Sunday is a weekly feature hosted by Vicky of Books, Biscuits, and Tea where all book lovers can share with others what bookish goodness we got this week, be it purchased (physical or eBook), won, gifted or for review!

This week I've got a few books on my Kindle and got approved for a book on NetGalley (a very awaited one at it!) and I finally got my hardcover copy of These Broken Stars in the mail! And I also got some very cool signed swag in the mail!

Purchased (via Kindle app)

Fracture Me by Tahereh Mafi

The Art of Falling by Jenny Kaczorowski

Purchased (via The Book Depository)

These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner

For Review (via NetGalley)

Thank you so much Harper Collins UK for approving my request!

Perfect Lies by Kiersten White

And some very cool signed swag from Erin Bowman & Melissa Landers! Thank you so much ladies, I squealed so much when I got it all!!

What all did you guys get this week?

  1. Love the swag! I'm really looking forward to reading Alienated. It sounds like fun. :) And I'm not the biggest fan of the UK cover for Perfect Lies, but I look forward to seeing what you think of it. I was curious about the story after the ending of Mind Games/ Sister Assassin. Happy reading, Pili!

    1. I can't wait to hear what you think of Alienated, it was such a pleasant surprise for me!
And yeah, I'm not too kind on the cover for the UK version of Perfect Lies, I got my Kindle edition with the US edition but when I saw the eARC I had to request it to read it sooner!

  2. Ooh, you got a lot of amazing books this week Pili! I really want to read the Shatter Me novellas but I won't be able to get them until they're released in print form which sucks since I've heard they're fantastic! I still haven't gotten around to the Bane Chronicles! Are they any good? I keep going to buy them but then I end up buying something else instead...
I've got Perfect Lies too! I'm not a major fan of the UK cover for this one. It's completely different from the first one which sucks! Yay for These Broken Stars! It's so pretty <3
Great haul, Pili! Happy reading :D

    1. Thanks Samantha! I do hope you can get the Shatter Me novellas once they come in print, both have been amazing!
As for the Bane Chronicles, they've been a bit of a hit and miss. Some I've loved, others have been so so... I think they'll also be released all together in paper.
Yeah, the UK cover ain't half as pretty as the US one, but well we get to read it early, so that's awesome!

  3. I know you're not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but These Broken Stars has such a gorgeous cover I can't help but be interested!

    1. I was guilty of the same thing, Holly! Thankfully the book itself proved to be fantastic too! If you want to check the review I'll have it up tomorrow!

  5. Lovely haul! I wish I were into Mafi's books as others are. I hope the next two are better than the forst one, I didn't really like it too much.
