Top 10 2013: Best Book Boyfriends of 2013!

This year I'm very happy to join in the Top 10 of 2013 week hosted by Rachel from Fiktshun, Jamie from Two Chicks On Books and Mindy from Magical Urban Fantasy Reads.

Today we're gonna be talking about all those swoon-worthy guys we love! To make it slightly easier the guys must be from book published in 2013 that we've read in 2013!

Best Book Boyfriends of 2013!

Perry from Through The Ever Night. - He's got confidence, he cares about his responsabilities and despite a bit of a rocky start he is ready to give up everything for Aria! Also, his relationship with his nephew melts my heart!

Sam from Asunder He's talented and he continues to support Anna and help her grow and encourages her in her love for music and despite some ill expressed concerns, he was the first one to never think less of Ann for being different.

Hector from The Bitter Kingdom - He's the captain of the guard, a strong ally, supportive and strong and not afraid to be with a Queen. Always there for Elisa, pushing her and encouraging her.

Raffe from World After - He's an angel and a powerful one, but he learns that even a wee human can kick some ass. He learns to respect Penryn and their banter is unique!

Tarver from These Broken Stars - Strong but always willing to help and motivate, with a hidden emotional side with poetry writing.

Logan from Deception - Logan's a geek, with a wonderful soft side, trying always his best at being a leader and helping Rachel as much as possible.

Kai from Sweet Peril - With his British slang and his naughty side, he's temptation itself, even more when you discover his romantic side!

Chaol from Crown of Midnight - Strong, loyal and very good at pushing Cealena to be the best she can be. Such amazing moments with them both!

Ry from The Chaos of Stars - With his description of stunning blue eyes, his slightly arrogant attitude and his not-taking-any-shit from Isadora, and his love of sharing food...

Vincent from If I Should Die - Chivalrous, romantic and ready to sacrifice anything for Kate, with a French accent and Paris to take you on a date... what's not to love!

Top 10 of 2013: Best Book Covers of 2013!

This year I'm very happy to join in the Top 10 of 2013 week hosted by Rachel from Fiktshun, Jamie from Two Chicks On Books and Mindy from Magical Urban Fantasy Reads.

Today I'm gonna try my best to actually limit myself to just 10 book covers from all the gorgeous books released on 2013 that I've read. Once again it's gonna be very hard work, but I hope to do better than I did yesterday trying to choose my 10 Best Books (I failed miserably at that!).

Top 10 of 2013: Best Books I've Read In 2013!

This year I'm very happy to join in the Top 10 of 2013 week hosted by Rachel from Fiktshun, Jamie from Two Chicks On Books and Mindy from Magical Urban Fantasy Reads.

We're gonna start the week right, with our Top 10 Best Books we've read this year. They don't have to have been published this year, but they must have been read this year.

Since there have been so many books and choosing just 10 is gonna be tough, I decided to list here only those that weren't debuts, and then on Wednesday I'll share my Top 10 Debuts of 2013, so I'll have another 10 awesome books that I loved this year.

Best Books I've Read in 2013.

This is one very very tough list to make because I've read so many books I've loved! I might have to add some honorable mentions after the Top 10. And I will be listing the books in the order that I read them throughout the year. I've limited myself to books read & published in 2013.

 Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare

Infinityglass by Myra McEntire

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas

The Bitter Kingdom by Rae Carson

The Outside by Laura Bickle

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater

World After by Susan Ee

These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner

And I'm just gonna add another 10 more books because I'm just missing too many books I've loved this year, dammit it!

Through The Ever Night by Veronica Rossi

Asunder by Jodi Meadows

Sweet Peril by Wendy Higgins

Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi

Star Cursed by Jessica Spotswood

Deception by C.J. Redwine

Earth Girl by Janet Edwards

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Perfect Ruin by Lauren DeStefano

Parasite by Mira Grant

And some more books I cannot NOT name: Goddess by Josephine Angelini, The Woken Gods by Gwenda Bond, Let The Sky Fall by Shannon Messenger, Gold by Talia Vance, If I Should Die by Amy Plum, Scarlet by Marissa Meyer & Winter Queen by Amber Argyle.

And now I will stop looking at my list or I will start fiddling again with it and adding more books here or there!!

New Year's Eve & Happy 2013!!

Well, today is the 31st of December, and we tend to think back on the year we are leaving and reflect on the good and bad things. And we start with resolutions and wishes for the next year.

I'm fairly hopeful for 2013, and I'm fairly thankful for all the good things that 2012 had in stock for me. Not saying it didn't have bad things, cause it did, and things are not looking particularly rosy for the economy of my country or the people in it, but call it what you may, I still choose to look at the good things first and the bad ones... I just shoulder them and move on.

That's gonna be probably my only resolution for the new year, to keep thinking positive, taking things the best I can and focusing to look on the bright side of things. Also, 2013 sounds like a good year for a big bloody change for me once and for all, so I hope I'll have scary but happy news for you guys this year!

I'm now gonna leave you with a few photos from this past year that reflect on the good part of it!

Gaurav and his friend Bhuvie, going Gangnam style underwater in Thailand

My first time attending a really big fat Indian wedding and wearing a saree!

 My first trip to Ireland!

Guinness does taste better in Dublin!

Wonders of the Ancient World: Newgrange!

The good things of my job: awesome co-workers and patients that make it!

And few things are better than the wedding of one of your best friends, and you being the photographer!

With these photos and happy memories, I wave goodbye to 2012 and will welcome tonight 2013 with my family and the 12 grapes to wish for strength and happiness for the next year!

Happy New Year 2013!! ¡¡Feliz Año 2013!!
