Dystopia Reading Challenge 2015!

Hey guys!

I have no review for this Friday because I am taking a long weekend off the blog, so to speak, and will be resuming normal schedule from Monday on!

What I have today is yet another sign up for yet another challenge for 2015!! Yes, I think I have once again 5 challenges to juggle in 2015!! I have tried to be more reasonable with my goals and I hope to add some spice to my reading but without any stress or guilt over failure!

I'm once again signing up for the Blog of Erised Dystopia Reading Challenge! This year I did great and conquered the 24 dystopian books I had challenged myself to read, but it was a close thing.

This year I'm gonna be aiming much much lower because I am a bit burnt out on dystopias, and although I have a few dystopian books in my reading pile and wish list, they are very few!

I'm gonna be aiming for the Recruit Level (1 - 6 books).

  4. No, no, no. Don't show this to me, Pili! I can't join any more challenges, I'm up to eight now. xD Good luck and have fun! I recommend The Book of Ivy by Amy Engels, it was an amazing dystopian.

  5. Baahhh, dystopia. I try to keep my dystopia reads to a minimum, after reading so many so quickly, a few years ago. I hope you enjoy this challenge!

  6. Best of luck, Pili, and I hope you get to read damn-good awesome dystopias. I used to love this genre so much when I started book blogging, but I've crashed and burned too many times to even want to try out the genre as much as I used to. I've also limited my dystopia intake so I understand why you'd rather tone it down!

And I agree, I think we all need a break, since there were too many dystopians popping up all over the place!

  9. Good luck Pili! Wow 24 dystopias... yikes that almost 2/3 of the total number of books I read last year :P

  10. I'm a bit meh on Dystopias at the moment but that won't stop me from reading any that seem good. I don't think I'll join the challenge but I wish you the best of luck! x

  11. At this point, I am saying no to challenges other than the Goodreads Challenge. I am just really burned out on everthing and am looking forward to reading what I want, when I want, for a while. I might do the ARC August Challenge again if Read.Sleep.Repeat. has another, but that seems so far away right now. The one thing I noticed looking back over last year was I read more books that I really wasn't into, than books I loved, and I didn't like that feeling. Happy New Year my friend. *wuzzies*

  14. I think we are all frying ourselves out on this now, maybe I'll set the count at 15 or so for next year if we return :D
Welcome though, have a good reading year!

  15. I can understand how you are feeling a bit burnt out with them! I am someone who has read a lot of them and stopped for a while, but have recently gotten back into them. I hope you like those that you have, though :)

  16. As you may have noticed, the blog that originally hosted the Dystopia Reading Challenge, Blog of Erised, has been deleted. The author of the blog had other personal issues that took priority and so is no longer able to host the challenge. I received your contact information from the original host along with permission to take over hosting the challenge. Right now I'm trying to figure out if the demand for this challenge is still there. I'm interested to see who is still participating or would like to. Please let me know if you'd still like to participate! Based on the response I'll probably start a new challenge page soon! You can email me at cornerfolds@gmail.com!
