Wearing Handmade Wednesday: Cotton And Cloud!!

Wearing Handmade Wednesday has arrived, and one more week it's been rescued from the folder of old pictures!

I keep on having to check my back up HDD for photos, cause I have been seriously lacking in the photo department, but I do hope it'll get better soon!

In good old cold Wisconsin wearing my reversible Cotton And Cloud fingerless gloves!

The super cute fingerless gloves were made by the talented & awfully nice Kyoko of Cotton And Cloud! I have already featured Cotton And Cloud here, but I don't think I got to show off these gloves, they're so cute I had to get some as presents for my friends too! ;) She used to sell on Etsy, but right now she's only selling from her website's shop, and she's mostly selling her own patterns, materials and unique Japanese craft books, although she also sells some of her handmade product though only purses and bags, no gloves or shawls. Which means, her shop is a must stop for knitters & crocheters, and a place to wish we could knit &/or crochet to those of us that can't! ;)

And don't forget to check out her blog too, she posts all sorts of tricks, free patterns and general kitty cuteness!

Alarming Charms!!

Good evening! Having a good Tuesday? I hope that your Tuesday is as good as mine was (at least till I reached work, work isn't too fun a place right now), cause today I got an amazing package in the mail!

A while back I bought 3 cute paintings from the DIYscene4charity shop (now the CraftAnon4Charity shop) as they were donating the proceeds to Haiti, and for some strange reason the package hasn't made it here yet, and the amazing Sheika (cow lover and brilliant artist) sent me a second package to replace the one that got lost somewhere along the way.

Sooo, today my package arrived today! And I'm so absolutely happy!! It improved my day even when it didn't need improvement!

So I finally got my three brilliant paitings today!: Mr Chillz, Hoos There and Forgetful Ducky!! And let me tell you, they are absolutely brilliant!! At first, I had planned to maybe give one or two as presents, but after seeing them in person, hell no! I'm not THAT generous! I'm hogging them all!

Along with those amazing 3 paintings, Sheika also sent me one extra painting, the Giraffes In Love With Tea (my quite unoriginal name for it) and the cutest piggie necklace ever in existence!
As I've said, I do love everything, but the Giraffes painting is my absolute favourite from them all. It does reflect G & me and our love for tea, very well!

If you love these paintings and want to see more of Sheika's art, check out her blog: OMG Cow! And hopefully she'll be restocking her Etsy shop: Alarming Charms, sometime soon!

Pet Zombie Creations!!

Happy Saturday!

How's the weekend going everyone? Mine's going pretty well, today was a non-eventful day, but productive, since I got some photos done for at least three blog entries, this one being one of them, so I have two more to work on the following days!

This blog entry is dedicated to the amazing Destry from Pet Zombie Creations (yes, Destry is her REAL name, aren't you jealous of such a cool name!?) and her amazing jewelry! She defines it as jewelry that goes from kitschy to classy, and she sure has a piece perfect for everyone! (except those without class or kitsch, of course!).

The first piece I got from her, she had donated it to the former DIYscene4Charity shop, now CraftAnon4Charity, and not only I got myself an amazing piece of handmade sculpted wearable clay art, but I also gave money to a good cause! For some time I was in doubt whether to keep it for myself or give it as a gift, but I love it too much to part with it! Ain't it absolutely gorgeous?

My second piece, I bought it straight from her Etsy shop, during her amazing 25% off sale (that it's STILL going btw, go get yourself something while it lasts!!). And it was a piece I had been eying for a while, so I jumped at the chance of getting it at a steal! It's a gorgeous pendant made of polymer clay & resin, and I'm just absolutely in love with these "Love Birds"!

As I said, run to her shop and check it out, I'm sure you'll find something you'll love, and it's running a fantastic sale!

And finally, if you like my long sleeved hoodie from this pics... it from the amazing Rhi from RockyTheZombie!
