Showcase Sunday is a weekly feature hosted by Vicky of Books, Biscuits, and Tea where all book lovers can share with others what bookish goodness we got this week, be it purchased (physical or eBook), won, gifted or for review!
As it would happen, I didn't do a SS last week due to being busy baking and having a wedding on Saturday and being super tired on Sunday, and now I have quite a big haul to share with you all this week! I got a lot of awesome book mail that I had been waiting for! I didn't have any preorders coming these two weeks but I also got a few new books via my kindle app! And I also got a few ARCs, one from Edelweiss that always gives me a quick! As well as some ARCs for taking part of blog tours & blitzes.

Wow, that was a huge haul! The one time I decide to skip a week and I get overwhelmed!
What all did you guys get this week?
YAYYYYYYY for Rush! And The Art of Lainey! And If I Lie! And Graceling! I loved those four so so so much. You need to pick up Fire by Kristin Cashore - in my opinion, that one is even better than Graceling. Fire is my favorite book of all time :D
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new books, Pili! Thanks for visiting my blog!
Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!
Fire I need to get, I just realized that I thought I had bought it when I bought Graceling, but it's not in my Kindle!! I need to check my Amazon account and buy it next! =D
DeleteYAYYYYY FOR THE NIGHTMARE AFFAIR! I hope you love it Pili! I REALLY DO! And another yay for bookoutlet! I've been stalking the site for a while now but shipping is just so frigging expensive :/
ReplyDeleteI spy... Torn Away!! I really hope you love Torn Away too, Pili. It's such a powerful book. It really is.
Lovely Haul, Pili and HAPPY READING! :)
Rashika @ The Social Potato
I loooooved the Nightmare Affair!! I loved it so much I needed a physical copy (I had a kindle one) and I want to get Nightmare Affair in hardback too!
DeleteI hope I can get to read Torn Away soon, I've read some really great reviews for it, and if you recommend it, I'll bump it up on the pile!
And BookOulet shipping is expensive, but if the books are really cheap and you buy around 5-6, even with the shipping it's cheaper than TBD! (Yep, I've made my calculations after a few orders!).
Awesome haul, Pili! Thanks to your Showcase Sunday post, I just discovered Book Outlet @_@ OMFG their fifty deals are awesome!!! Too bad most of them are now sold-out:( But will be checking back again in case I get lucky. HIHIHIHI :D
ReplyDeleteFaye at The Social Potato
Shipping is expensive, but if the deals are really good it can still be cheaper than TBD! Glad to discover yet another place to buy books for you, Faye! ;)
DeleteLAINEYYYYYYY, ORS, & COHF READ NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteAngie @ Pinkindle
I cannot wait till I get to reading it! Glad to hear you loved it!
DeleteYou got some amazing books this week, Pili…wow! GRACELING remains one of my all-time favourite high-fantasy novels, and I sure do hope you love it, too! Enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Melissa! Graceling was highly recommended to me and I'm quite in the mood for fantasy as of late!
DeleteOoo, so many of my favorites! I loved THE ART OF LAINEY, EONA (prepare for swooooons), and GRACELING in particular. Happy reading, my friend! You have a ton of great books to get through.
ReplyDeleteSorry I've been so MIA late, but we've all been insanely busy. June is crazy too, but we're trying our best to get back on track.
Wendy @ The Midnight Garden
I adoooored The Art of Lainey (I had originally bought the kindle but I needed a copy to hug!) and I'm hoping to start Eon this weekend, so having Eona nearby will be a good choice!
DeleteI can only imagine how busy you have to be! I have been quite busy myself with work and preparations for a friend's wedding and I'm having post ready like the night before at the earliest instead of having them ready in advance as I prefer!
Hopefully we'll both get back in track soon!
EONA! I am planning on re-read both Eon and Eona soon! Such an amazing duology! I don't often read contemp books, but Ask Again Later sounds cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited! I am planning to read Eon this weekend and hoping I'll love it!
DeleteAsk Again Later was a lot of fun!
I LOVE THAT SHEEP! He's my favorite on Shaun the Sheep :) You got some awesome book, my friend! Enjoy them!

I still have Altered sitting on my bookshelf waiting to be read. So many things to read! Need to get to it! It's amazing how big the hauls are when we skip a week.
ReplyDeleteI know! I wasn't expecting it to be so much but when I sat down to work on the post... wow!
