Isla Is Coming: A Happily Ever After readalong!!

Talk about perfect timing! I just recently got the Kindle ebooks of Anna and Lola and preordered my copy of Isla, cause I had heard so many great things about them, and was planning to read the two previous books in August in preparation to reading Isla on release day, and ta dah! the awesome Andi from Andi’s ABCs, Jamie from The Perpetual Page Turner , Judith from Paper Riot, Lindsey from A Bookish Sinister Kid and Meg from Cuddlebuggery had prepared a fantastic readalong!!

Here's the schedule (done by Andi of Andi's ABC's):

I'm so pumped to do this now! If you want to join too just signed up HERE and get ready to start reading and tweeting with the #IslaIsComing hashtag!!

You can use the awesome banner and add the button to your side, both done by Meg from Cuddlebuggery, aren't they both gorgeous!?

  2. I really want to participate in a read-a-long one of these days. The problem I always end up having is either I find the ones I'm interested in WAY too late for me to join up, OR I'm completely uninterested in the book.

I hope you end up loving this book, I don't read YA contemp that much, so it's probably not for me, but you're right those buttons are beautiful! Hope the book is as good as you're hoping for :) It's so awesome when things come along like that, just at the right time :D

    1. I think this is actually the first organized readalong I'm gonna be participating!
I don't read that much contemporaries myself, this year is when I've started to read a few more, and so far I've been quite lucky, so I'm hoping that will continue with this one!

  4. Read-Alongs can be fun if they're about books you know you love (and are excited about!). I've never really felt that urge to read Perkins' though, despite its massive popularity. The adorkable fluffy kinds are not really my preferred reads, but hey! I still hope you guys have fun (I know you will!) and that you all discuss like cuh-razy. You know how those discussions can be the most fulfilling part of the read-along!

    1. I've felt so very curious about this book and since I've been reading more contemporary than ever this year, and they were cheap on Amazon ES, I decided to give them a try!
They might end up being a bad idea for my emotional state, but who knows? At least I'll have fellow bookworms to talk about the books, and that's always the best!!
