This year I'm very happy to join in the Top 10 of 2013 week hosted by Rachel from Fiktshun, Jamie from Two Chicks On Books and Mindy from Magical Urban Fantasy Reads.
Today I'm gonna share my second part of favourite & best books of 2013, as I read quite a good amount of debut books, and so many of them were amazing and became instant favourites!

Great list sweetie :D Ah, All Our Yesterdays. <3 So good.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carina! All of these were so good!
DeleteI haven't read a single debut this year. :( But your post really makes me want to, which is bad because money. XD (But then, the same's true for all the books I put on my wishlist after the last two days.. Hahah)
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays!
Patricia
Awww, I do hope you can get to read some of these next year! Maybe you can find them on the library?
DeleteAlso if you have an eReader or a tablet, or even your phone you can download the kindle app for free and get the books when they're cheap! Ultraviolet Catastrophe was on sale now for 99 cents!
I love some of these debuts! Some Quiet Place was amazing! I enjoyed Taken. I have Splintered, but have not read it yet. All Our Yesterdays was pretty great! And In the After is definitely under-appreciated - that book was AMAZING! :D
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays!
Check out my Top Ten post!
I'd really recommend Splintered, I loved it and its dark Wonderland imaginery!
DeleteAnd agreed 100% on In The After, it was brilliant and I've been pushing the bf to read it!
Splintered and The Nightmare Affair are also a few of my faves!! And I am so happy that Taken made your honorable mentions because I am DYING to read that one!!
ReplyDeleteTaken was a very cool book, the only thing I wasn't too happy was the slight sort of love triangle there, but it is a very good dystopian!
DeleteUh oh... I'm not a big fan of love triangles myself =/
DeleteSplintered should get an award for not only one of the best debuts, but also one of the best covers. I'm really looking forward to the sequel to In the After - the way things wrapped up in the first book will result in a very different kind of story for the sequel. That has me both excited and nervous!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Splintered's cover is stunning and the book in itself is a bit of a work of art, with the coloured font and everything!
DeleteAnd yeah I'm quite biting my nails over In The End, I'm hoping it will live up to the expectations that a book like In The After creates in a sequel!
