Hey there guys!
After the whole week dedicated to my Top 10 lists I'm back with the last 2016 Challenge I've signed up (at least for now!). I've already gone a bit overboard because I had planned to keep thing low key and sign up just for three, but the 4 I'm doing are challenges I feel that will help me stay motivated with my reading and not slack so much with my reviewing (hopefully!).
I needed a challenge for ARCs because I really want to finally reach the ever ellusive 80% on Netgalley so Falling for YA's 2016 Netgalley & Edelweiss Reading Challenge is exactly what I needed!
I'm gonna be aiming for the Gold Level because is a year long challenge and I already have a bit of a backlog of late eARCs I need to read, so 50 books from either Netgalley or Edelweiss really doesn't seem like too much to acomplish on a year! I hope that maybe I can reach the next level, but I want to keep it realistic too! ;)
I've already made a Goodreads shelf/list with the books I need to read that are pending on my Netgalley/Edelweiss dashboards and that I'm most likely to read too! ;)
Good luck with the challenge Pili! I'm terrible at sticking to challenges so I'll just go with my GR Challenge! I have heard great things about Lair of Dreams and The Imposter Queen!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeann!! I am not that good with challenges that are out of my comfort zone but one like this helps me feel better about what I already ought to be reading, if it makes sense! ;)
DeletePersonally I'm not great at keeping the motivation going to complete challenges, but I know they work for a lot of people so I hope the same goes for you :) good luck with it! Also Night Study looks brilliant (I'm reading it soon) so happy reading

Thank you Anna! I hope I can do well with these challenges! I completed 2 of the 3 I signed up for last year so... not too bad!
DeleteYou are signing up for so many challenges, lol :) Wishing you the best of luck Pili. <3 Hugs. And YAY for planning on reading Menagerie :D I LOVED that book. I think you will too :) Fingers crossed. Happy reading sweet girl :)
ReplyDeleteThank you sweetie!! I hope I'll love Menagerie too!
DeleteI'm also hoping I'm not biting off more than I can chew with so many challenges!
This is an excellent challenge to join! I love how many challenges you have signed up for - I can't wait to see your progress. You'll do great! :)

ReplyDelete14?? You're braver than I am for sure, Joann! Best of luck with all of them too!
DeleteOh, Pili, I think I need this challenge, too! I have a boat load of Edelweiss ARCs pubbing in March and April! Hmmm... I said I was set with three, but this is also a challenge I can cross over books from other challenges.
ReplyDeleteThis is one I need to keep myself in track with all my NG & EW books, and I hope to reach the ever ellusive 80%!!
DeleteWow it's that time of year again for the challenges! Good luck :D
ReplyDeleteRachel @ A Perfection Called Books
Yeah, I don't really do New Year resolutions, but I do like me some reading challenges! Thank you Rachel!
DeleteYay! I love this challenge. I'm doing it again. And that's a great group of books. I'm so excited about The Vanishing Throne and I loved Lair of Dreams and liked Menagerie a lot. Good luck with the challenge.
ReplyDeleteCassi @ My Thoughts Literally
Thank you Cassi! *high fives* I think this challenge is one of the best ideas to try and keep ourselves accountables!
DeleteWow, you reached 80%? That's amazing! I think I'm sitting at about 50% just now... I totally sucked with reading challenges last year, but I'm thinking this could possibly be one I try.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! :D
The 80% was very short lived! I want to make sure it lasts this year!!
