Hey everyone!
The blog hasn't been updated in nearly a month or maybe a little longer, but with the trip to India, and then my poor laptop getting K.O. after some coffee drop and a oxidiced mother board as a result (I so thought of Erin from Erin Bradley Designs when it happened, how many times she had adviced against the coffee nearby the laptop!)... I'm right now typing on a borrowed laptop and with a few more week(s) to go till I'm back to normal, either with a repaired laptop, or with a new one... we'll see!
I can't share any photos of my latest cupcakes with you, neither of my trip to India or even less photos of my trip to Ireland that I just returned from yesterday!
So, that's all for now, I hope I'll be able to return to the world of blogging soon-ish!

OH NO!!! I am sorry to hear about the laptop. I actually had coffee dangerously close to my laptop AND iPhone this morning (oh the horrors!) but thankfully everything was A-OK. I hope you are back up and running soon. I miss reading your blog and can't wait to see your pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear that this happened! It sounds like you've got some wonderful things to share when you get back though. You know we'll be anxiously awaiting your return, you are loved! ♥
ReplyDeletesorry to hear about your laptop!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear the laptop problem. You may need to use a laptop key cover to protect it.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything is fine after you are back. Looking forward to seeing the india photos.
Hi Pili! What a bummer, I hate computer problems!! I wanted to tag you for my blog tag questionnaire, but when I read that your comp is down - I figured it would be too much of a pain for you to do. Next time! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I am always drinking my coffee nearby my PC. Maybe not so good. I totally hate computer problems. Every time mine has problems I realize how I (we) depend on this little box and I don't like it. I like my PC but I don't like my dependency on it ;) Hope you are online soon.
ReplyDeleteAnd I want to thank you for your visits on my blog. I really appreciate your thoughts and comments.
Have a nice day!
Looking forward to seeing your photos from India and Ireland Pili. Hope you get back to blogging soon : )
ReplyDeleteHi Pili - I've only just discovered your blog via Aileen Clarke's blog, and I'm loving both your blogs so much.
ReplyDeleteImagine the smile on my face when I saw one recent post of yours talking about travels in India and Ireland - I live in Ireland and I am in love with all things India (especially Hindi cinema).
Sorry to read about your laptop - a similar sad tale with my hubby's laptop when I accidentally spilled just the tiniest of drops of coffee on his laptop a few months back. That's all it took for it to just completely stop working within five minutes of those one or two drops spilling from the coffee mug. Six weeks later and back from the computer shop, it's working fine once again...but I felt terrible about it, and I no longer bring coffee anywhere near him when he's using the laptop.
Oh! And one more thing we agree on - cupcakes! I love baking - especially my own bread, scones, muffins and bikkies, but cupcakes are always a fun treat that don't make me feel as 'naughty' as a a scone usually does.
Where in Ireland did you visit? Is this the first time you've been there? Can't wait to see your holiday snaps.
Sorry for rabbitting on and on, but it's just such a lovely thing when you 'stumble upon' a brand new (new to me, I mean) blog that resonates with you.
Slan go foill, and have a lovely weekend.
June in Ireland
Oh! And I'm also really, really looking forward to seeing your photos of India - a place I dream about visiting. Especially Goa, Kerala, Chennai and Delhi.
