Illumicrate May Box is HERE!!

Hiya there guys!

Today I'm oh so very happy to share Illumicrate May's box!!

It arrived last week but since I had just returned from BEA & vacation and even if I took some pics and flailed very much about it on Twitter and I was beyond happy about all the goodies... it's taken me a while to get my s... eerrrm, well, it's just taken me a while to find the motivation and the time to write this post!

I've said this before, but Illumicrate is a quarterly subscription box based in the UK, which means it was my obvious option when I decided to go for one. If want more info about it, you can go HERE!

Now, let me show you the goodies!! As you can see Dylan was as excited as I was to dive into the box!

And here's the full loot! Book, sampler, mug, pins, bookmark and more!

The main book is When We Collided by Emery Lord, with a signed bookplate and gorgeous artwork postcards! - I had heard so many good things for this one and now I can check it out!

There was also a sampler of the UK edition of Strange The Dreamer by Laini Taylor - Now that I have both the US & UK samplers, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna preorder the UK edition because I adore that cover!

Then we have an extremely cool mug from Shanelle of Mother of Books Designs! I now want a physical book club to take the mug to the meetings!

A super cute notepad perfect for every reader from Goodnight Boutique!

An adorable bookworm bookmark from My Bookish Mark.

More cuteness in the shape of a "Readers Gonna Read" pin from Literaryemporium!

Illumicrate's February box is HERE!!

Hello there guys!!

If you are wondering why am I talking about a February subscription box when it's already March, the answer is because I am floundering a bit and time seems to just get away from me!

Anyways! Here I am to coo and squee about how very awesome Illumicrate's February box was!!

For starters, this time the Spanish post decided to NOT post an extra address label on the top of the box where the super cute logo can be see!!

Do you see that gorgeous box?? Dylan was super excited to see what was inside this one!

 

 And that's the whole lot!! A lot of awesomeness in this box for sure!!

The book (UK ed of Truthwitch!!, ADSOM inspired candle, bookish pencils, super cute tote, lemonade recipe, handmade exclusive bookish pouch, badges and even magnetic bookmarks!!).

I'm absolutely in love with my Red London candle from Simple Candle Co! I keep sniffing it at random times of the day, and I'd got nuts for a guy that smelled like that! Also very happy that luck got me this one instead of either Grey, White or Black, since you got one randomly!

I adore Truthwitch and I've re-read it like 4 times already and I really wanted to get me the UK edition of the book, but money is tight so I couldn't justify it, so getting it with this book along with the bookmark, the signed bookplate and the special message from Susan was the ultimate treat!

And lastly this supremely adorable magnetic bookmarks from Beedoo. Seriously, that ship that says "I ship it" it's so beyond perfect!!

With every new box I'm more and more excited about the next Illumicrate box and happier than I subscribed! I cannot wait for May's box!! Subscriptions are open now too, in case you guys want to try it out! Highly recommended, even more if you are in the UK or Europe!!

My first ever subscription box: ILLUMICRATE!!!

Hey there guys!!

Today I have a post up later than I usually do but it's for a very good reason!!

In the mail today I got my first ever subscription box! My Illumicrate box has arrived!! *does happy dance*

I don't know if many of you are familiar with what subscription boxes are, but they're this surprise treat that comes either monthly or bimonthly or every three months, with a theme and goodies related with that theme! There are all sorts, geeeky, movie based... and of course, book based!

I had never subscribed to one not for lack of  wanting to, but because none of them ship to Spain, or do so at a reasonable shipping rate... BUT, all that changed when Illumicrate happened! It's UK based which means the shipping to Spain for once is SUPER affordable!! I signed up without a doubt and today my November box arrived!!

Yes, this means I'll stop blabbering and show off the photos of all my goodies, you impatient people, sheeesh! ;)

The box is really lovely and it has the logo and all, but the Spanish mail decided to put a gigantic sticker with my address on top of it (because the fact that the ladies behind Illumicrate had put the sticker at the bottom, so pretty pics could be taken to show off meant shite to them...) so sorry, no pics of the unopened box!

You can see the lovely logo and card (the contents of the box are detailed in the back of the card, as well as all the vendors in case we need more or their stuff!)

I have to say the attention to detail from the ladies behind Illumicrate is fantastic, seeing that made me grin! Thank you for all the love you've put into this Daphne!!

And here is my loot!! An UK copy of Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin, a wonderful matching bookmark, a Hunger Games necklace (with one of my fave quotes), a "Books Before Looks" pocker mirros, a Six of Crows pin and that rolled up poster!

Now I need to unroll the poster properly so I can hang it somewhere because I had wanted a poster for all the Harry Potter books for my new apartment and I couldn't decide which one... and now I have this minimalistic book covers poster that I love!!

I couldn't be happier that I decided to subscribe to Illumicrate and I'm so very excited for my next box to come!!
