They don't draw me in as much as narration does. I'll check it out though. I totally need to check the Ellen Hopkins series, the lenght of the books felt a bit much but since you get through the books so fast... I really need to check them out!
Thanks a lot,Giselle!!Pilihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05235628363081574896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4541582388948046827.post-57159746509236266882014-05-10T04:25:25.162+02:002014-05-10T04:25:25.162+02:00Wow a Penguin NG approval! So obviously you're the shiz!! :D This sounds very unique and I love the India setting that's both intimidating for me for some reason and intriguing at the same time. But I've had really great luck with verse books. I've only read I think 3 and I really enjoyed all of them! It's such a wonderful storytelling, right? You should totally read the Ellen Hopkins series it's incredible and so so moving. Also even though they're 700 pages (I know right) it reads like a 200 page book you really fly through verse books! But anyways this sounds like a really great read and I'm not religious either so I'm glad that that was not a problem. Great review, Pilipie!Gisellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16953187386418088952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4541582388948046827.post-85018228942056165212014-05-10T00:04:16.944+02:002014-05-10T00:04:16.944+02:00It's not your typical contemporary and I think...It's not your typical contemporary and I think you'd probably enjoy it, Alyssa! I've had some success with liking verse stories in the past, and to be honest, I would like to know more about India. When I was younger, one of my best friends was Indian and I was always so fascinated by the Hindu images she had in her house.

Glad you enjoyed this!

-P.E. @ The Sirenic CodexAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17045558423044874125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4541582388948046827.post-80950262596767611532014-05-09T17:13:35.472+02:002014-05-09T17:13:35.472+02:00I've never read a book in verse Pili!
